This is a story of good and evil and how two people fight for what is right for them. The author's description of both worlds is stunning and in such detail that it is believable. These characters jump out of the page at you. I love the way that the Native American beliefs are an intrinsic part of the story. All the characters interact with such ease that it is seamless from one scene to the next.
